From Ghostwriter to Go-To Writer...and Beyond the Desk

I started writing in 2017, right around the time I began my Supply Chain Management degree at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. While my classmates were deep in procurement formulas, I was moonlighting as a content writer, cranking out short product reviews for Cambodian affiliate marketers. The pay wouldn't impress anyone, but my grammar got a serious workout.

By 2018, I had leveled up from simple product reviews to in-depth reviews on everything from running shoes and kitchen gadgets to musical instruments. Even boats. I also dipped into blog writing and copywriting across all sorts of industries: legal, logistics, lifestyle, travel, automotive. I've probably written about more topics than I've eaten hot meals.

Somewhere along the way, I got curious about how content actually reaches people. That's when SEO clicked for me. I started with the basics (on-page, off-page) and now I'm getting into the technical side, where things get nerdy in the best way.

Nine years in, I know how to read a brief, find the angle, and write something that feels native to a brand's voice. Whether that's a punchy blog post or an expert feature, the goal is always the same: content that's easy to find and even easier to enjoy.

My Other Life: Fleet Management, Logistics & Procurement

Writing wasn't my only classroom. I was also building hands-on experience managing fleets, coordinating logistics, and handling procurement for high-pressure businesses. That background gave me something most writers don't have: a real understanding of how operations actually work on the ground.

Today, that clarity, structure, and problem-solving mindset comes through in everything I write, especially for B2B, operations, and industry-specific audiences. I don't just write about these systems. I've run them.

He has a strong grasp of SEO, but what stands out more is how naturally he balances that with readability. His content doesn't feel engineered, but intentional.

    OnMedia Founder & CEO

"Eddie started under me in the fleet department, and from early on, it was clear he paid attention in a way most people don’t. By the time I left, he was already operating at a level where stepping into a leadership role felt natural. He had built authority with the team, could make decisions under pressure, and understood the operational side of the job in detail. It’s rare to see someone transition that smoothly from learning to leading, but Eddie managed it."

    Nelson
    Fleet Consultant

"Eddie has a strong instinct for clear, engaging writing. One of his debunk articles was featured among our top pieces of the month, standing out for how well it communicated an important point without feeling preachy. He consistently delivers clean, well-structured work and is easy to collaborate with."
